About the position

New Balance is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Accessories and Licensed Product Business Operations Manager to oversee the end-to-end operational management of our licensed product portfolio. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with licensing agreements, optimizing supply chain processes, and driving operational efficiency across teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business operations, supply chain management, and licensing compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all licensed products adhere to contractual obligations, intellectual property rights, and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, forecast demand, and coordinate product ordering and shipping.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Spot inefficiencies and implement smarter, faster, better ways of working.
  • Analyze sales data, product performance, and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
  • Prepare regular reports on operations, compliance, and performance metrics.
  • Work closely with internal teams including product management, sales, marketing, and finance to support product launches and ongoing operations.
  • Proactively address and resolve operational issues to ensure seamless product delivery and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of experience in business operations, supply chain, or licensing, preferably in a consumer products or entertainment environment.
  • Strong understanding of licensing agreements and IP compliance.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and inventory management tools (VibeIQ, FlexPLM highly preferred).
  • Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven problem-solving and project management capabilities.
  • Business acumen and financial literacy.
