About the position

Liberty Senior Living is currently seeking an experienced Admissions/Marketing Director for a full-time position. The role involves performing routine networking visits to physicians, hospital discharge planners, case managers, and other healthcare referral sources to present center information, gather resident referrals, and evaluate potential resident admissions that contribute to the center's overall revenue growth. The Admissions/Marketing Director will demonstrate leadership skills by planning and instituting new and innovative programs in harmony with the overall facility philosophies. The position requires screening all prospective admissions to ensure appropriate care delivery in the long-term care setting and assessing the cost-of-care for prospective admissions as determined by the admitting physician. The director will also maintain open lines of communication with fiscal intermediaries and state agencies, process prospective resident inquiries, and serve as a liaison between families and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine networking visits to healthcare referral sources.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills by planning and instituting new programs.
  • Screen prospective admissions for appropriate care delivery.
  • Assess cost-of-care for prospective admissions.
  • Provide necessary forms for medical information requests.
  • Maintain communication with fiscal intermediaries and state agencies.
  • Process prospective resident inquiries and maintain inquiry records.
  • Serve as a liaison between families and healthcare professionals.
  • Communicate resident admitting schedules according to facility policy.
  • Assist families and residents during the admission process.
  • Update admissions/move out reports as directed.
  • Participate in Quality Assurance meetings.
  • Maintain current records of competitor census and service offerings.
  • Participate in census development and marketing meetings.

Requirements

  • Must have a valid Driver's License in the state of employment.
  • Demonstrated success in external marketing to healthcare referral sources.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with other employees.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Knowledgeable about local, state, and federal regulations related to admissions.
