About the position

Our team is made up of 8 dedicated professionals, including 5 product managers and 3 category managers, who work collaboratively across a diverse portfolio. We manage key product lines, including air systems, transmissions, axles, eMobility, ADAS, and more, under the ZF WABCO brand. We are highly cross-functional, partnering closely with teams like sales, global product management, engineering, and purchasing to drive strategic outcomes. With a strong focus on customer needs, we aim to deliver innovative and reliable solutions that lead the market. Manage the release of new products for the NA CVS AM and develop new projects through to production, working closely with North American customers, ZF global support teams and ZF's sales organization. Develop/present business cases for assigned product category with project management and identify new opportunities to grow the aftermarket's sales and margins using market/product intelligence to drive key business decisions. Ensure service readiness through product/marketing support for Product and Key Customer Teams. Drive Reman mindset for long term service readiness. Maintain effective contacts with, and coordinate actions with project management, marketing communications, engineering, operations, quality assurance, product performance, sales and field sales functions. Be the market expert on assigned products, developing targeted price points, maintaining profitable margins and developing USP's. Maintain master data and deployment to customer center for assigned category. Attend and represent ZF at major aftermarket shows, promotional events, and customer interactions. Develop and provide marketing and sales training material for the aftermarket sales team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • 6+ years of relevant experience, preferably in aftermarket and/or commercial vehicle.
  • Understanding of product management, marketing and branding, customer requirements and trends.
  • Product management experience is preferred.
  • MS office suite experience, specifically with strong MS Powerpoint and Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to identify and exploit customer needs.
  • Ability to identify gaps in existing marketing and materials and build up new USPs.
  • Able to drive in a complex organization with strategic thinking abilities.
  • Team mentality, supporting team members with unique industry/product management knowledge.
