About the position

This role is being posted through the Movora careers portal for administrative purposes only. The position is fully embedded within the AllAccem team in San Carlos, CA. We are seeking a hands-on Associate Chemist, Process Chemistry to support the production of high-quality veterinary products on a multi-kilogram scale. This role involves chemical synthesis, purification, and characterization of both intermediate and final products under Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The ideal candidate has experience with air-sensitive chemistry and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, schedule-driven manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform chemical synthesis on a multi-kilogram scale according to SOPs
- Produce and purify starting materials, intermediates, and final products
- Operate and maintain inert atmosphere gloveboxes and Schlenk lines
- Maintain detailed and accurate batch records and production documentation
- Manage production timelines, materials, and equipment availability
- Clean and maintain glassware, equipment, and production workspaces
- Prepare production areas for project initiation or changeovers
- Adhere to industrial safety and quality control guidelines
- Lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods
Requirements
- BS or BA Chemistry
- Minimum 2 years of industrial production experience in multi-step chemical synthesis is preferred
- Proficient in air-free techniques (Schlenk line, glovebox) and equipment setup preferred
- Familiarity with SOPs, batch records, and quality control protocols
- Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a production environment

Benefits
- Salary- $80,000-110,000 per year
