About the position
Visiting Angels on Anderson Mill is looking for Caregivers/HHAs/CNAs to work one-on-one in private homes. We provide 24 hour care services. All shifts Available in Austin - you give us your availability and we will match you up with AMAZING seniors. Our Caregivers (aka “Angels”) are our #1 priority! Responsibilities
- Provide personal care to elderly clients in their homes
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Ensure the safety and well-being of clients
- Communicate effectively with clients and their families
- Adhere to health and safety standards
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
Requirements
- Must have valid driver's license, car, and insurance
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
- 1 year of experience providing personal care to an elderly family member, friend, or facility, or 6 months of experience with CNA schooling
- Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR)
- Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
- Respectful and compassionate demeanor
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong ethics and physical endurance
- High school diploma or equivalent
