Automated Test Framework Software Engineer - CLEARANCE and POLYGRAPH REQUIRED

About the position

The position requires a highly skilled individual with a strong background in software development, particularly in Java, and experience with various development tools and methodologies. The candidate must possess a TS/SCI security clearance and be a U.S. citizen due to federal contract requirements. The role involves working in a collaborative Agile environment, potentially requiring travel to Maryland for quarterly PI Planning sessions. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline and at least eight years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop software applications using Java and related technologies.
• Create and execute unit tests to ensure software quality.
• Utilize Spring libraries and development IDEs for application development.
• Implement CI/CD frameworks for continuous integration and deployment.
• Manage software source control and configuration management tools.
• Work in Windows and/or Linux operating systems, including virtualized environments.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must have TS/SCI clearance with active polygraph.
• At least eight years of direct/relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Demonstrated experience with Java, including development of unit tests.
• Experience working with Spring libraries and development IDEs.
• Experience with CI/CD frameworks.
• Experience with software source control and configuration management tools.
• Experience working in Windows and/or Linux operating systems and managing VMs.

• Experience working with integration test frameworks.
• Basic Windows administration experience.
• Experience with task automation such as PowerShell.
• Experience with knowledge management systems.
• Experience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD).
• Experience with Scrum and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology.
• SAFe Agilest Certification or experience as a member of an Agile team.
