Mercedes-Benz of Tacoma is searching for a Skilled-Level Automotive Technician to join our expert team. Responsibilities

  • Ensure repairs are completed accurately the first time, minimizing return visits.
  • Perform efficient and prompt repairs while adhering to dealership and manufacturer standards.
  • Diagnose and repair issues across all vehicle systems.
  • Deliver superior workmanship and exceptional customer experiences.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance outlined in repair orders with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Test-drive vehicles and utilize diagnostic tools to identify and resolve issues.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair major vehicle systems, including engine and transmission, steering and suspension, brakes, electrical systems, and air conditioning.
  • Communicate with Service Advisors to relay repair needs and timelines to customers.
  • Perform warranty repairs in line with manufacturer specifications.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure all work meets dealership and manufacturer standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of automotive experience.
  • ASE certifications are ideal.
  • Strong automotive background.
  • Strong teamwork skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and written.
  • Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check.
  • Must have a clean & valid driver's license.
