About the position
Miller's Health Systems is offering a Nursing Assistant Training program designed for individuals interested in pursuing a career as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). This training is provided free of charge and includes both classroom instruction and clinical practicum components. The program aims to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in long-term care facilities.
Responsibilities
- Complete 36-40 hours of classroom instruction with a passing score of 80% on all tests.
- Participate in 75 hours of supervised clinical practicum in a long-term care facility.
- Demonstrate all required skills successfully during the practicum.
- Maintain a clinical sign-in record, documenting hours worked and obtaining necessary signatures.
- Complete all skills checklists and submit them at the end of the clinicals.
Requirements
- Pass a criminal background check.
- Complete a TB test and physical examination prior to starting the course.
- Attend all classroom sessions to meet program requirements.
