About the position
Hall Imports is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Body Shop Assistant to join our growing team. We are looking for professional and friendly Body Shop Assistant to join our team in supporting our dealership staff and customers while assisting with representing our brand. Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license and a high school diploma or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Assist body shop technicians with disassembly and reassembly of vehicles
- Prepare vehicles for body repair and paint, including masking and sanding
- Help with vehicle teardown, parts inspection, and documentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop and tools
- Follow safety procedures and shop guidelines at all times
- Support the team with various repair and prep tasks as assigned
- Learn to identify damage and understand basic repair processes
- Communicate effectively with technicians and management
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Interest in automotive body repair and willingness to learn
- Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools
- Ability to follow directions and work well in a team
- Reliable with strong attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
