About the position
Dreamers is a Recovery Support Clubhouse serving members ages 13-17 who are experiencing difficulties with drug and/or alcohol use. We provide education around drug use and related issues, support with schoolwork, support with gaining employment, and activities that promote whole health and provide a fun alternative to use. We work with ATL (Alianza Terapeutica Latina), probation and accept clients from other referral sources. We are looking for a Certified Addictions Counselor or (working toward certification) to join our multi-disciplinary team to provide administrative oversight of all Titans Clubhouse operations, in accordance with our DBHDD contract.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative oversight of all Titans Clubhouse operations.
- Ensure compliance with DBHDD contract requirements.
- Support members with education around drug use and related issues.
- Assist members with schoolwork and gaining employment.
- Organize activities that promote whole health and provide alternatives to substance use.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university.
- Certification as an addiction counselor from the Georgia Addiction Counselors Association (GACA) or equivalent certification.
