Ridgewood Specialty Care, a 60-bed long-term care skilled nursing community located in Ottumwa, IA, is now hiring! Care Initiatives is seeking a Charge Nurse - LPN to join our team and help deliver exceptional care to residents across our 40+ skilled nursing communities throughout Iowa. Responsibilities
- Deliver skilled nursing care under the supervision of an RN or DON.
- Supervise CNAs and other support staff to ensure quality care delivery.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the care team.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with federal, state, and company guidelines.
- Promote a positive, respectful, and compassionate care environment.
Requirements
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing (Iowa or ability to activate).
- Valid CPR certification.
- Completion of a State-approved LPN Supervisory Course or willingness to complete within the first 90 days of employment.
- Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for resident-centered care.
