Class A CDL Flat Bed Driver-County Materials

We are seeking a Flat Bed Driver for our customer, County Materials in Janesville, WI. Military service members and veterans are encouraged to apply. Competitive hourly pay. Responsibilities

• Demonstrate customer service while interfacing with clients.
• Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and in route inspections on all equipment, including securement devices.
• Properly secure load prior to transport following DOT regulations.
• Operate tractor trailer combinations.
• Transport freight while ensuring compliance with DOT regulations.
• Perform duties consistent with all safety policies, including utilizing proper PPE.
• Unload transported material utilizing approved methods.
• Ensure cleanliness and good operating condition for assigned tractor.
• Receive work assignments and report back on job completion.
• Use consistent communication with dispatch.
• Maintain customer relations by acting in a professional, courteous manner.

Requirements

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL prior to hire.
• Minimum of 2 years Class A CDL driving experience required.
• Oversize experience a plus but not required; will train.
