About the position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Client Director for a hunter-farmer role to expand our market share within medical device and life science companies globally. This position blends initiative-taking opportunity hunting with relationship-building to drive growth.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new projects and opportunities within the defined account set.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with key buying personas, such as R&D leadership.
  • Stay informed on market trends and news relevant to client industries, leveraging this knowledge with Sunrise’s past successes to establish credibility.
  • Lead discovery processes to define project scope, budget, timeline, and approval paths.
  • Collaborate with Sunrise teams to develop and deliver compelling proposals that showcase expertise.
  • Align with account influencers to secure a competitive edge in winning business.
  • Monitor secured projects, ensuring clear communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Partner with Project Management to guarantee customer satisfaction and project success.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in related engineering or technical field
  • 7-10 years of Sales or Account Management experience in a client-facing role.
  • Proven ability to achieve sales targets
  • Conversational aptitude of technical and engineering concepts
  • Demonstrated success in account management and relationship-building in large, multi-functional client organizations.
  • Travel up to 20%
  • Hybrid with onsite 3-4 days a week
  • Medical Device experience preferred but not necessary
