About the position

The Ear, Nose, Throat and Plastic Surgery Associates is looking for a rockstar to join our team! Our Physical Therapy department is seeking a Clinic Director who is value driven as well as 100% focused on leading a team that is providing excellent patient care. The Clinic Director will provide oversight, onboarding/mentoring, performance management and development of schedules for the Physical Therapy department (PT, PTA, PT Tech), while managing an independent case load. The role requires effective communication with all ENTPSA team members to help achieve our overall goal of excellent patient care and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Reports directly to Director of Operations.
  • Collaborates with Medical Office Manager and Medical Receptionist Support for scheduling purposes.
  • Oversees clinical and operational leadership to PTs, PTAs, and Techs.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings and 1:1s to review performance, discuss goals, and support professional development.
  • Manage staffing levels and schedules to ensure optimal patient flow and productivity.
  • Support onboarding, training, and competency assessments for new hires.
  • Ensure all patient care meets evidence-based standards and complies with state licensure and practice guidelines.
  • Provide mentorship and serve as a clinical resource for complex cases.
  • Review and approve care plans and documentation when needed.
  • Oversee day-to-day clinic functions, ensuring efficient patient throughput, appointment scheduling, and supply management.
  • Collaborate with administrative and billing teams to optimize revenue cycle and address billing, coding, or insurance issues.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as patient satisfaction, visit volume, cancellations/no-shows, and therapist productivity.
  • Ensure proper billing and coding during chart review for licensed therapists.
  • Ensure documentation compliance with state, federal, and payer regulations.
  • Lead initiatives to improve patient outcomes, reduce risk, and maintain a safe clinic environment.
  • Assist in developing and managing clinic budgets, forecasting growth, and optimizing resource allocation.
  • Participate in business development efforts, including community outreach, referral relationship building, and marketing support.
  • Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to meet revenue and cost targets.
  • Demonstrates the ability to effectively communicate through written communication and verbally with team members to ensure execution of our company values of Access, Integrity, Quality, Teamwork and Accountability.
  • Identifies office workflow improvement opportunities and develops and implements action plans to address.
  • Sets the example for the clinic and creates a positive work environment and culture that upholds company values.
  • Demonstrates the ability to diffuse tense or emotional situations when they arise between team members or patients within the clinic.
  • Perform periodic check-ins with team members and provide appropriate documentation for behavior or performance management concerns.
  • Completes yearly performance reviews for each team member.
  • Manages a caseload of a minimum of 12 visits per day.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program
  • Current or pending state licensure
  • 1+ years of experience as a leader in the PT space
