Clubhouse Manager

About the position

The City of Janesville and Prairie Ridge Golf Course is recruiting for a full-time Clubhouse Manager. The course is a reversible nine-hole course which switches directions each week. This position is responsible for managing the daily operations of the clubhouse and providing efficient and excellent customer service for members and golf patrons.

Responsibilities

• Managing the daily operations of the clubhouse
• Providing excellent customer service for members and golf patrons
• Managing the Pro Shop
• Managing leagues, tournaments, and events
• Managing food and beverage services
• Record keeping
• Working with management on human resources and budgets

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Two years of experience as an Assistant Head Professional, OR
• Two years of supervisory experience, OR
• Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in business management or a related field
• Five years of experience
• Three to four years' experience scheduling, running, and scoring league play and tournaments
