About the position

As Commercial Inside Sales you will develop an in-depth knowledge of commercial equipment becoming a product specialist. With support from our Commercial Value Engineer, you will be accountable for supporting customers and Account Managers, assisting in product selection and offering cost and energy savings alternatives. You will also learn to perform job take-offs while offering technical assistance to Branch employees and customers. Interacting with existing Commercial Accounts and Contractors to increase sales and margin for light commercial HVAC equipment and supplies, you will have assigned and non-assigned accounts. The focus is to grow value added Commercial sales particularly within the design build market channel.

Responsibilities

  • Develop an in depth understanding of our commercial product offering.
  • Support internal and external customers with technical commercial issues, quoting for light commercial HVAC equipment and supplies.
  • Provide superior product selection capabilities with the ability to offer alternative solutions to save energy and cost for our customers.
  • Make proactive calls to customer base to drive sales and increase margins.
  • Handle order entry and shipment tracking where necessary.
  • Provide post-sale support as required.
  • Facilitate product returns and train customers on warranty processing.
  • Perform other duties as directed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of commercial HVAC technical knowledge
  • 5+ years of customer service experience
  • Experience supporting the sales team
