About the position

Our Commercialization Manager, Retail is responsible for driving integrated product launch commercialization initiatives and strategies across Moen's Retail and Ecom Channels that deliver on business objectives and grow market share. This includes responsibility for planning and managing communication strategies, development and execution with cross-functional teams and outside agency partners and includes identifying project scope, developing timelines, providing status updates and budget management. The ideal candidate will effectively manage these initiatives to engage customers, influencers and consumers along the path to purchase or specification.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement impactful, integrated product launch communications and programs for Moen products across The Home Depot and other retail accounts (Costco, Sam's Club, Target, Walmart, etc.) and associated Ecommerce channels.
  • Own the commercialization strategy for products and innovations; serve as the project lead and Moen brand steward for all communication planning, development and execution alignment with global brand standards.
  • Leverage the Moen Creative team or outside agency partners for development to execution and fulfillment; create project briefs, provide clear upfront direction that delivers on business goals or objectives, and manage multiple partners and campaigns simultaneously.
  • Communicate and manage multiple project timetables, meeting deadlines and budget parameters as well as obtain legal and corporate approvals.
  • Support Moen's North American Product Marketing teams through the development and execution of all marketing communications tactics including new product launch support, internal gate process participation, customer line reviews, direction of photography and video for launching product, packaging development, digital asset management, merchandising support, social media, show support and PR.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Channel, Customer Marketing teams and internal departments such as Global Brand, Web Teams, Product Content Marketing, and Ecommerce Team to plan, execute and assure coordination of commercialization programs and customer requests.
  • Initiate brief for concepts, pitch support (in partnership with Sales, Channel and Product) and manage and execute retail in-store initiatives such as displays, in-aisle POP, packaging and merchandising and associated design reviews and approvals.
  • Stay informed and up-to-date on current in-store displays in relevant aisles, including competitors' sets and initiatives, as a means to continually evolve and improve Moen's presence.
  • Manage and execute online initiatives with key customers by working with internal digital teams to support digital display advertising or social campaigns by partnering with the eCommerce and Content Team to ensure launches are on-message with consistent visuals that meet timeline requirements or customer commitments.
  • Identify appropriate metrics for evaluating marketing programs, tactics and pilots; analyze results to prove ROI and provide insights into future recommendations.
  • Support the creation of the annual marketing communications strategic plan, presentation and forecast in conjunction with Director, Commercialization and other Commercialization leads.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field required.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in a marketing environment; experience in developing strategic communication and product commercialization plans required.
  • Omnichannel marketing experience, specifically within Wholesale or Home Improvement Retail and Ecom, with a strong understanding of The Home Depot's business model, is preferred.
  • In-store display and merchandising planning and execution experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple internal and external stakeholders and agencies/partners.
  • Possess strong project management skills, budget forecasting and management, organization, presentation and coordination skills as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Possess the ability to interact comfortably with higher management and customer leadership teams, as well as interact with agency partners, vendors, customers, sales associates, etc.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to meet changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in software applications such as PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
