Responsibilities

  • Project manage moderately complex or mid-size congresses/event elements including pre-planning and post congress communications
  • Develop strategies for both internal and external conferences and events
  • Develop and track project plans, track milestones and alert to deadlines
  • Negotiate contracts as needed
  • Plan and execute mid-size scale regional conferences independently
  • Manage deliverables and payments to Congress Associations; track and reconcile all project budgets
  • Oversee and facilitate all ancillary meetings and requests at national congresses
  • Participate in site evaluations
  • Initiate and implement all consulting agreements, non-disclosure agreements and RFAA contracts; serve as liaison with legal department
  • Assist with event planning responsibilities such as communications, travel, AV, onsite set-up and F&B planning
  • Other duties as assigned by Management

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with 3 years of related work experience
  • Experience working in sales, marketing, or healthcare industry Preferred

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills
  • Good problem-solving, critical thinking, and investigative skills
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of policies, procedures, and guidelines relevant to strategic event planning

  • Must be able to work in a team environment with global marketing team and cross functional partners

  • Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
