Ramboll experts deliver innovative solutions across Environment & Health, Water, Energy, and Planning & Urban Design. Ramboll is seeking an entry-level Consultant in its Columbus (Dublin) or Cincinnati, Ohio; Irvine or Los Angeles, California; Tampa, Florida; or Arlington, Virginia offices (although other office locations and remote work may be considered) to support client projects related to chemical safety, product stewardship, regulatory compliance, and environmental and human health risk assessment associated with industrial chemicals, consumer products, and environmental contaminants.

Responsibilities

  • Perform independent research and critical review of chemical, biochemical, and general toxicology/safety data and literature.
  • Conduct database searches on product and chemical regulations.
  • Collect, compile, analyze, and present technical information to prepare client reports, memoranda, and presentations, as well as various notifications for submittals to governmental agencies.
  • Work with others on cross-disciplinary teams to review physical/chemical properties and conduct exposure and risk assessments.
  • Participate in internal team calls, and project calls and meetings with clients and government regulators.

Requirements

  • BS or MS degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry (or similar relevant STEM field).
  • Ability to apply basic chemistry principles to problem-solving.
  • Analytical, statistical, computing, and quantitative analysis skills.
  • Great verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including technical writing, business writing, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to critically evaluate and synthesize data from diverse sources and of varied quality.
  • Capability to work both independently and as part of a project team in a multi-tasking environment.
  • Willingness to travel for internal or client meetings, as required.
