About the position

We have an opportunity for a Pro Engineer/Designer. This role utilizes Creo 11 to create and modify 3D solid models and 2D drawings utilizing traditional and surface modeling skills. Supply all CAD needed for production purposes including machined product, rough product, mold designs, pattern designs, and rigging designs. Previous foundry related mold, pattern, and rigging experience is a plus but not required. These activities require multi-component assembly models, which utilize both a shared standard library of components and building customized versions of these components. Design information will be supplied in various formats such as customer supplied 3D CAD, 2D drawings, & manual sketches. On occasion full reverse engineering of existing product will be required. This role requires close collaboration and detailed communication with engineering and sales team members. This position requires excellent organization skills to maintain both hard copy data and electronic data. As part of the engineering group, this position shares in the responsibility of verifying and controlling the accuracy of information shared with the production group.
