The Data Science Manager role is designed to support the firm's growth by leveraging strong expertise in marketing, client, and product challenges. The successful candidate will join the global Data Science capability, which includes over 300 Data Scientists across Europe, North America, and Asia, and will focus on marketing analytics for various sectors such as luxury, energy, FMCG, banking, and insurance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the delivery of data science projects across several clients in the US.
  • Apply data science techniques to complex marketing problems including customer segmentation, predictive modeling, pricing strategy, and customer experience enhancement.
  • Collaborate with Sia Partner's US Data Science Lead and Business Units teams to develop proposals for potential opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities to expand Sia Partners' Data Science offering to existing clients.
  • Build and maintain external professional peer networks to drive new revenue opportunities.
  • Support marketing campaigns and contribute to external positioning across social networks, including blogs and methodologies.
  • Lead recruitment initiatives for the Data Science team and support the operational and career management of data science consultants.
  • Mentor colleagues in performance and development, facilitating learning and enhancing the team's technical knowledge.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in applying data science solutions to marketing problems, particularly in customer segmentation and predictive modeling.
  • Experience in leading and developing high-performing teams, preferably in a consulting environment.
  • Expertise in Python, R, SQL, cloud-based infrastructures (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure), and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical information to various stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage projects from conception to completion within tight deadlines.
  • Deep understanding of marketing challenges and familiarity with sectors such as luxury, FMCG, energy, banking, and insurance.
