About the position

We are seeking a strategic and data-driven Demand Generation Marketing Specialist to own and optimize email marketing for online eCommerce platforms. This role is pivotal to the success of our Direct-to-Consumer growth strategy, managing the customer lifecycle, driving cross-sell/upsell initiatives, and delivering highly personalized messaging to increase engagement, revenue, and customer lifetime value. You will combine hands-on campaign execution in Salesforce Marketing Cloud with strategic ownership of email performance and growth, working closely with cross-functional global teams to align campaigns with revenue objectives and expand our reach in the D2C market.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and deploy email and in-app campaigns for promotions, product launches, and lifecycle programs.
  • Monitor email deliverability, resolve bounce/spam issues, and ensure campaigns are sent accurately and on time.
  • Manage and optimize triggered workflows and journeys to support customer acquisition and retention.
  • Respond to urgent technical and campaign-related issues.
  • Analyze campaign and workflow performance to identify opportunities to improve CTR, conversions, and revenue contribution.
  • Run A/B tests on subject lines, creative, CTAs, and personalization strategies to maximize engagement.
  • Develop and refine audience segmentation strategies to target behavior- and purchase-driven cohorts.
  • Optimize automation workflows based on engagement trends and customer lifecycle stages.
  • Partner with design and content teams to create scalable, high-performing email templates.
  • Implement dynamic content and personalization to enhance customer experiences and drive sales.
  • Align campaign content with broader marketing initiatives, promotions, and seasonal events.
  • Maintain list hygiene and ensure compliance with GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CCPA, and related regulations.
  • Prepare and present monthly and quarterly email performance reports with actionable insights.
  • Contribute to long-term email marketing strategies to support D2C revenue growth targets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required. Marketing or Communication majors preferred.
  • 2+ years experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (or similar application like Marketo, Eloqua, Klaviyo, or HubSpot) including building lists, workflows, journeys, and dynamic content.
  • Proven track record in email marketing strategy, campaign execution, and performance optimization.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Knowledge of deliverability, compliance, and best practices in email marketing.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills across marketing, content, and design teams.
  • Highly organized with ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of MS office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SalesForce.
