About the position

In this leadership position within our dynamic Digital Product Owner team, you will play a pivotal role in driving efficient and timely product development. In this role, you will impact the business by leading and mentoring a team of Digital Product Owners, ensuring efficient and high-quality product development aligned with business goals. You will define technical requirements, oversee the development of specifications, and implement best practices to optimize workflows. Additionally, you will actively participate in strategic planning, contributing insights to shape the direction of the product management function while fostering continuous improvement and innovation within Honeywell's technological landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate the product vision and strategy for marketing technology solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for digital marketing stakeholders, providing regular updates on product progress and addressing any concerns.
  • Collaborate with digital transformation stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements, translating them into clear and actionable user stories.
  • Oversee the development of technical specifications and ensure their alignment with the product strategy.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to Technical Product Owners.
  • Work closely with the Sr Digital Product Owner Manager to implement and improve product management processes.
  • Actively participate in strategic planning and execution.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a Digital Product Owner management role or similar technical leadership position.
  • Experience in leading technical solutions related to content management and digital asset management systems, including global rollouts across various geographical regions and languages.
  • Experience working in agile development environments and familiarity with agile principles.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks within a collaborative team environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing technical teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or another related field.
  • Certifications in product management or agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving capabilities.
