About the position

The Director of Marketing and Product Management oversees the development, launch, and management of the company's products while driving marketing initiatives to optimize their market performance.

Responsibilities

  • Define and manage the company's product portfolio in collaboration with the Engineering team.
  • Develop and implement product launch and lifecycle strategies.
  • Work with R&D teams to ensure product specifications meet market needs.
  • Conduct market studies to identify customer needs, trends, and competition.
  • Analyze data to identify growth opportunities and adjust product strategies accordingly.
  • Develop marketing plans to promote products, including advertising campaigns, promotions, and communication materials.
  • Design and implement guidelines for product presentations and graphic materials.
  • Ensure smooth communication between departments such as Engineering, Sales, and Finance regarding product management.
  • Align departmental objectives to ensure consistency in product strategy.
  • Collaborate with the President, Sales Team & Product Managers to set pricing, launch schedules, and product promotions.
  • Monitor product performance and adjust strategies based on results and feedback.
  • Lead and motivate the marketing and product management team.
  • Develop team skills and ensure effective task distribution.
  • Identify and propose improvements for existing and new products.
  • Monitor industry trends and integrate best practices into product and marketing strategies.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Excellent skills in market analysis, product strategy, and campaign management.
  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable expressing ideas/opinions to groups of individuals at various levels within Zetec and/or customer organizations.
  • Strategic vision and results orientation.
  • Creativity and innovative capability.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to mobilize, organize, and evaluate a professional team.
  • Sharp judgment, professionalism, and rigor.
  • A general understanding of eddy current test method as applied in steam generator tubing inspections.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project & Outlook.

Nice-to-haves

  • MBA a plus.
  • Software product management experience highly desired.
