About the position

Verkada is looking for a driven, analytical Product Management leader to drive our Workplace product line. In this role, you will own the success of our business line and be the product owner to shape the product strategy and roadmap for one of our fastest-growing offerings across industries and geographies.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales and marketing to understand the needs of key segments (e.g., healthcare systems, manufacturing plants, construction sites, and K-12 schools) and identify opportunities to improve our workplace product
  • Define the near and long-term roadmap for our Workplace product line, including new feature development, product expansion opportunities, and partnerships
  • Partner with Engineering and Design counterparts to guide development of new features and enhancements
  • Deliver product excellence with great product documentation including PRDs, user flows, roadmaps, and requirements and measure impact on key business metrics (growth, retention, NPS, and engagement)
  • Partner with Product Marketing and Sales to develop go-to-market plans and messaging for new product capabilities
  • Represent the voice of the customer and shape the product strategy to drive growth in the market

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in product management, preferably in SaaS
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar quantitative field. MS, PhD, or MBA optional
  • Strong technical understanding, with the ability to establish credibility with engineers and customers alike
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and dig into data
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical cross-functional teams
  • Experience supporting enterprise go-to-market sales teams and relevant customer engagement
