About the position

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Sales to lead all sales efforts at our 242 room full-service Sheraton Denver West. This role will focus on maximizing revenue through strategic planning and execution, particularly in our newly renovated 16,000 sq ft meeting space and upcoming rooms renovation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hotel sales and a proven track record of success.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the sales team of three, providing guidance and support to achieve sales targets.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and market share.
  • Conduct strategic analysis to identify market trends and opportunities for business development.
  • Prepare and manage the sales budget, ensuring alignment with overall hotel financial goals.
  • Create accurate sales forecasts to inform decision-making and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with the hotel executive committee to align sales strategies with overall hotel objectives.
  • Foster relationships with clients and stakeholders to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in hotel sales, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Experience with budgeting and financial forecasting.
  • Familiarity with the hospitality industry and current market trends.
  • CI/TY Experience strongly preferred.
