About the position

Zscaler is looking for an experienced Director Product Management to join our Privileged Access Management Product Management team. This role is for San Jose, California and is a hybrid environment, with three days in the office. Reporting to the Senior Director, Product Management, you will be responsible for defining detailed product requirements and working with engineering teams to ensure execution. You will own product strategy and drive execution, leveraging cross-team collaboration for key capabilities. Engaging key customers and partners to promote and evangelize the product, developing technical collateral, including user guides, best practices, and POV test plans, and collaborating with GTM teams and product marketing to drive adoption, deployments, and product growth are also key responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Defining detailed product requirements and working with engineering teams to ensure execution
  • Owning product strategy and driving execution, leveraging cross-team collaboration for key capabilities
  • Engaging key customers and partners to promote and evangelize the product
  • Developing technical collateral, including user guides, best practices, and POV test plans
  • Collaborating with GTM teams and product marketing to drive adoption, deployments, and product growth

Requirements

  • 10+ years of prior hands-on experience with networking concepts, including Proxies, Secure Web Gateway, VPNs, and SASE solutions
  • Deep understanding of identity management solutions such as Auth0/Azure B2C (SAML/OIDC) and modern web application security
  • Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages
  • Experience with articulating and simplifying complex technical solutions to diverse audiences
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering

Nice-to-haves

  • Privileged Access Management experience with vendors like CyberArk, BeyondTrust, Delinea, or Thycotic
  • Knowledge of Operational Technology concepts like Purdue model and IEC 62443
  • Understanding of containers and container orchestration (e.g., Docker & Kubernetes)
