Responsibilities
- Sweeps and mops floors
- Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and all other surface areas
- Segregates and removes trash and places it in the designated containers
- Washes pots, pans, and trays
- Polishes silver
- Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
- Restocks tools and supplies for next shift
- Sets up banquet tables
- Helps line cook prep food
- Helps line cook date food
- Maintains inventory
- Maintains temperature logs
- Helps line cook properly store food
- Keeps walk in cooler/freezer organized
- Busses tables
- Walks the floors and picks up any room service / bar trays
- Maintains a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
- Maintains professional image at all times through appearance and dress
- Follows Company policies and procedures
- Operates in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws including OSHA, EEOC, wage and hour, and health code laws
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED preferred
- Previous banquet experience preferred
- Food Handlers Card Required
- Knowledge of food service regulations
- Skillfully uses hand tools or machines needed for the position
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Able to work in fast paced environment
- Able to lift, carry, or pull objects that may be heavy
- Able to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks
