As a team member at Michaels, you will deliver friendly customer service, assist customers in shopping our store, and help them find what they’re looking for. You will ensure all customers receive a fast and friendly checkout experience. Your responsibilities will include completing truck unloading and merchandise duties throughout the store, maintaining store recovery standards to deliver our Brand Promises, and helping customers shop and locate products. You will also provide solutions to customer inquiries and execute cash handling to standards. Engaging customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, as well as completing enrollments, will be part of your role. Additionally, you will educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey and assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS). You will participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes, and be responsible for merchandise recovery and maintenance, ensuring a well-merchandised and in-stock store. Supporting shrink and safety programs, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and interacting with others in a respectful manner are also key aspects of this position. You may be cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production and will perform other duties as assigned.
