The Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position is responsible for delivering exceptional nursing care to patients. This role requires strong organizational and leadership skills to assess patient status, determine the priority of the patient's problems and needs, and implement clinical nursing interventions. The RN will develop and perform patient care plans to enhance and improve outcomes while ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment. The position involves collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team and caring for groups of patients in a fast-paced, high-intensity setting. The RN will evaluate, update, and revise the plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes, serve as a point of contact for patients' care coordination throughout hospital departments, and provide care to a broad spectrum of patients ranging from short-stay to trauma. Additionally, the RN will administer medications in a safe manner consistent with the State of Practice and the organization's policies and procedures, along with other duties as assigned.
