FORGE-MDPAP is the next generation missile warning processing system for the US Space Force. The MDPAP Visualization team leverages web based, Unreal Engine, and backend data ingest and manipulation technologies to seamlessly present in-depth real-time sensor and event data visualization and analytics information to Space Force Guardians to prosecute a 'no-fail' mission.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain user interfaces for web applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in C++.
- Implement responsive design principles to ensure applications work on various devices.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure optimal performance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Utilize Jira for project management and tracking.
- Apply DoD standards and protocols to ensure compliance and security.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with expertise in C++.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with DoD projects is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using Jira for project management.
- A passion for learning and staying current with industry trends.
- Ability to qualify for SECRET clearance 20+ years' experience.
Nice-to-haves
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Familiarity with CI/CD Continuous integration/continuous delivery techniques.
- Familiarity with Rust.
