Title: Fan Engagement Marketing Intern Department: Marketing Reports To: Marketing Manager FLSA Status: Part-Time, Non- Exempt Kings University starts October 2025, and runs through the 25-26 season! Job Summary: The Fan Engagement Marketing Intern is responsible for providing a wide range of support to the Marketing team throughout the season for both Golden 1 Center and Sacramento Kings initiatives. This person will be a valuable resource assisting with various tasks and programs which could include marketing and sales support for concerts/shows, back-of-house activations, youth fan engagement, email and creative asset management, and more!

Responsibilities

  • Effectively works with the Marketing and Creative Services departments to execute marketing and media campaigns.
  • Supports targeted campaigns to drive awareness, sales, and the distribution of engaging content.
  • Proactively assists with Marketing and Creative Services projects for internal clients.
  • Supports the development, planning and execution of marketing promotions for youth fan engagement initiatives, including but not limited to Kids Club, Crib Club and Jr. Kings programs.
  • Anticipates hurdles, solves problems, and offers solutions.
  • Builds and maintains collaborative relationships with all departments.
  • Additional duties as assigned by Marketing Manager and Sr. Director, Arena Marketing.

Requirements

  • College Majors preferred in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task, prioritize projects and adapt quickly to a fast-paced work environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively about solutions to complex problems.
  • Desire for continued learning and development.
  • Exceptional writing and proofing skills.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook a must.
  • Previous experience using project management software preferred.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments.
  • Passion for the sports and entertainment industry.
  • Available to work up to 25 hours per week in person, including some nights and weekends.
