About the position

The Filter Press Operator will monitor and operate filter presses to remove impurities or moisture from slurries and chemical solutions. This position will work Monday-Friday 7:00am – 4:00pm. Overtime and weekend work may be expected. If you are interested in making an impact and inspiring a world through decorative enhancements, then you have come to the right place. You will use your talents to produce engraving plates.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and operate filter presses to remove impurities and moisture.
  • Controlling operation of filter press system.
  • Conducting tests and inspections of system.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year experience operating filter press preferred.
  • Proven mechanical aptitude.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
  • Prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending.
  • Critical thinking.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Mechanically inclined.
