About the position

TBK Bank Sport Entertainment Complex is seeking a dedicated and experienced Food and Beverage Hourly Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruiting, training, and managing staff while ensuring compliance with best practices and company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, interview and hire food and beverage staff.
  • Train personnel and ensure staff compliance with departmental best practices and standard operating procedures.
  • Builds and maintains staff cohesiveness.
  • Create and maintain staff work schedules to cover all hours of operation as directed. Communicate issues immediately to leadership.
  • Follows and enforces company cash handling and accounting policies and procedures.
  • Leads various Food & Beverage operations as directed.
  • Includes but not limited to ensuring proper staffing levels based on business flow, provide work direction to staff and ensuring tasks are completed to department and company expectations.
  • Follow up and verify at the end of all shifts to make sure expectations for cleanliness, back stock, and preparation for next shift is completed.
  • Properly communicates shift information and performance issues to Food & Beverage Director.
  • Assists with payroll approval of staff.
  • Conducts inventory and places food and/or beverage orders as directed to maintain proper inventory.
  • Properly receive or ensure proper receipt of all deliveries as directed.
  • Works in position in the kitchen or restaurant as directed.
  • Interacts professionally with guests and vendors through high level customer service.
  • Effectively resolves customer complaints or issues.
  • Ensures a safe and sanitary work environment.
  • Addresses safety concerns to eliminate safety hazards, investigates, and reports incidents, implements training programs, and enforces safety work rules and procedures.
  • Prepares the necessary work orders for maintenance problems or equipment malfunctions.
  • Directs staff in sanitation processes and ensures that working areas and equipment are kept clean.

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of food and service protocols.
  • Minimum of 2 years bar experience.
  • Great interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to hire, train, manage and schedule staff.
  • Solid organizational skills, ability to create a budget and inventory goods.
  • Computer and Point of Sale operational experience.
