About the position

Our team, based at our HQ in Salisbury, MD, is looking for a Marketing Manager to support our Wholesale, Industrial, International and Foodservice division. The Marketing Manager will support the duties of the Director of Marketing and is a key driver of profitable growth of our business in the WIFI/Foodservice Channel. The salary range for this position is $84,000.00 - $126,000.00 per year, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance). Responsibilities

  • Develop and perform customer presentations for the secondary chains as defined by National Account Sales Leadership.
  • Perform syndicated tool research, web research as well as working with the ad agency to create data resources.
  • Create valuable Culinary Ideations with customers requiring giving R&D and Chef direction plus group presentations for our premium proteins.
  • Be the marketing resource for Regional Business Managers and Brokers.
  • Bring Foodservice resources to the field supporting actions at the Market levels.
  • Perform role as Marketing lead delivering Category expertise.
  • Support the Director of Marketing in WIFI creating strategy and driving profitable growth.
  • Assist in enhancing quality for the Categories.
  • Perform key Product Line Management: new product development with R&D; Product line rationalization recommendations; packaging upgrades; financial management reporting to Marketing and Channel leads.
  • Lead role in managing price deviations/P&L impact actions for cost and price.
  • Identify changes within the category maintaining accurate competitive database for use in sales training.
  • Develop communication for new product offerings.
  • Implement Strategic Plan Marketing tactics in key Segments as the Category expert.
  • Participate in key brand in various platforms including Point of Sale, Food Show Materials, Training Materials, Web Site content.
  • Create new product ideas for growth.
  • Work within the R&D process to prioritize creation of new categories, products, co-pack arrangements, new packaging, new processes and cost reduction.
  • Perform as Marketing Lead for the Category increasing profit.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing or Business related field.
  • 5-7 years related Protein product/category as Manager specific experience.
  • Ability to think and act strategically.
  • Proactively identify business issues.
  • Develop and implement successful programs to grow the brand profitably.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • P&L understanding.
  • Strong quantitative analysis skills for 'fact based' strategic recommendations.
