About the position

The position involves providing superior guest services in a hotel environment, ensuring guest satisfaction through effective communication and problem resolution. The role requires flexibility in scheduling, including the ability to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts. Responsibilities include processing check-ins and check-outs, handling guest complaints, adhering to payment policies, and generating daily reports.

Responsibilities

  • Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
  • Handle guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Process all check-ins and check-outs according to established hotel requirements.
  • Adhere to payment, cash handling and credit policies/procedures.
  • Generate, print, and distribute daily reports to designated departments/personnel.
  • Resolve discrepancies on the room status report with Housekeeping.
  • Provide superior guest services including check-in/check-out hotel guests courteously and efficiently.
  • Provide information and services to any guest or visitor in a friendly, professional manner.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Minimum one year customer service experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
  • Computer experience preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
  • Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.
