Front-End Software Engineer – CNO Tools & Visualization - Fully Cleared

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with users and teammates to translate complex needs into clean, usable, and responsive UI designs
• Build and maintain dynamic web applications that drive data visualizations, workflow automation, and user efficiency
• Take ownership of development lifecycles—designing, architecting, implementing, and optimizing custom solutions
• Refactor and enhance existing tools for better performance, usability, and maintainability
• Evaluate emerging technologies and identify new opportunities to enhance toolsets
• Contribute to agile sprint planning, continuous integration, and DevOps workflows
• Work hands-on with modern development frameworks and cloud-based technologies to push boundaries

Requirements

• Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen
• 12 years of relevant software engineering experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree)
• Deep expertise in front-end technologies, especially the React ecosystem
• Proven experience with scalable, maintainable front-end architectures, including state management and responsive design
• Exposure to version control tools (Git) and DevOps environments, including containerization (Docker)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-tempo, mission-critical setting
• Excellent communication skills and a user-focused mindset for building impactful tools

Nice-to-haves

• Proficiency with React ecosystem tools: Vite, TanStack Query, Tailwind CSS, Redux
• Data visualization libraries: Chart.js, D3.js, Recharts
• Backend technologies and stacks: Django, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, Elasticsearch, Redis
• DevOps and infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, WebSockets, Linux (CentOS/RHEL), Cloud Services (S3, EC2, RDS)
• Real-time data handling frameworks and streaming services
• Experience in CNO environments and Agile/XP software development practices
• Familiarity with software reverse engineering
