About the position
We are looking for a software developer to join Verisign. An ideal candidate should be fluent in Java and have prior experience in full-stack software engineering. Exposure to additional languages and technologies (bash, python, docker, git, jenkins) are advantageous. From the engineering side, we seek a strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including core Computer Science concepts, as well as hands-on problem-solving experience building software systems. Obtaining required competencies often implies an equivalent of a bachelor's degree, 5+ years of hands-on software development work experience. The candidate will be involved in all aspects of product development including ideation, design, implementation, deployment, and issue resolution. This will usually imply cross-team collaboration with Product, Engineering, Security and Operations. The candidate is expected to provide technical contributions and work collaboratively with other team members.

Requirements
- 5+ year's software development experience
- Fluent in Java
- Full-stack development experience (2+ years): backend (Web, REST), frontend (React, HTML, CSS, JS)
- Frameworks: Spring and Spring Boot, Hibernate
- Test Automation: Unit/Integration/UI testing
- Data Layer: SQL, relational Databases, postgres
- Familiarity with UNIX-like operating systems

- Containerization: docker
- CI/CD/CM: git, jenkins, gradle
