The Produce Management Assistant is responsible for managing and supervising up to 20 associates in the Produce Department and may also oversee the Floral Department. This role includes the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these departments, ensuring compliance with Harris Teeter's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing and training associates, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining associates, and addressing complaints and resolving problems.
