General Role Player / OPFOR - Virginia Beach

About the position

The position involves serving as a Role Player for military training scenarios. Role Players will be required to adhere strictly to the script of the scenario without adlibbing or altering the scope of the training. They will participate in various activities that include wearing appropriate costuming and headgear, operating military weapons systems, and acting as an Opposing Force (OPFOR). The role requires physical fitness and the ability to work in austere environments during nighttime hours.

Responsibilities

• Stay on script for the scenario without adlibbing.
• Wear appropriate clothing and costuming for the scenario.
• Operate various military weapons systems and fire marking cartridge weapons.
• Act as Opposing Force (OPFOR) during training.
• Be physically fit and able to work in austere environments.
• Handle basic weapons safely.
• Be restrained/zip-tied for prolonged periods.
• Allow trainees to frisk and search while restrained.
• Stand and lay prone for extended periods.
• Participate in scenario training with non-lethal marking ammunition.
• Wear safety equipment including a full-face helmet and throat guard.

Requirements

• Be 18 years or older.
• Be a US Citizen and provide proof.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Military or Law Enforcement experience/background preferred.
