About the position

Provider1st is redefining the Release of Information (ROI) experience for healthcare providers. We offer Release of Information (ROI) services with white-glove support, empowering clinics, health systems, and ambulatory groups to manage medical records with ease, speed, and full compliance. As we scale rapidly, we're seeking a marketing leader to build and own the marketing function from the ground up. We are looking for a strategic, hands-on Head of Marketing to drive brand growth, lead generation, and market positioning. You will be the first dedicated marketing leader and will work closely with the VP of Provider Solutions, sales team, and customer success to fuel Provider1st’s next stage of growth. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in an early-stage, fast-moving environment and can balance strategy with execution.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a marketing strategy aligned with revenue targets and growth goals.
  • Establish clear messaging and value proposition for our core offerings.
  • Define and refine Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) and buyer personas.
  • Launch and optimize multi-channel campaigns (email, LinkedIn, webinars).
  • Create sales collateral: one-pagers, case studies, pitch decks, and objection-handling sheets.
  • Identify and lead our industry conference presence.
  • Track and report on marketing-attributed pipeline and closed-won deals.
  • Develop a strong content engine: blog posts, LinkedIn posts, newsletters, white papers.
  • Create case studies and co-marketing opportunities with clients.
  • Develop nurture programs to drive retention and referrals.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of marketing experience, ideally with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Background in healthcare B2B, SaaS, or health information management (HIM) preferred.
  • Proven success designing and executing integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation, CRM, and content platforms.
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills, especially for healthcare audiences.
  • Data-driven mindset and experience with performance marketing metrics.
  • Ability to move between strategic planning and tactical execution seamlessly.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working in the Release of Information (ROI) space or with healthcare providers.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA, compliance-based marketing, and payer/provider dynamics.
  • Event marketing or field marketing experience for healthcare conferences.
