About the position

The Head of Product Marketing will be a strategic leader responsible for driving the go-to-market strategy and positioning for our product portfolio. This role will be central in ensuring our products resonate with the target market, drive adoption, and achieve business objectives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Sales, and Customer Success, to craft compelling product narratives, develop impactful campaigns, and establish strong market leadership. As a senior leader, you will inspire a high-performing product marketing team and ensure alignment between product development, sales enablement, and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the product marketing function, defining and executing the product go-to-market strategy across the entire lifecycle of our product offerings.
  • Partner with Product Managers to shape product positioning, messaging, and differentiation, ensuring clarity and alignment across all teams.
  • Develop and drive comprehensive launch strategies for new product features, updates, and initiatives, ensuring successful market entry and adoption.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities for product growth and differentiation.
  • Create and manage product content, including sales collateral, website copy, case studies, and thought leadership materials, to support internal teams and engage customers.
  • Collaborate with the Demand Generation team to develop integrated campaigns that drive product awareness, lead generation, and conversion.
  • Support the sales team by developing training materials, sales playbooks, and tools that enable them to communicate product value effectively.
  • Drive customer-centric marketing initiatives by gathering insights from customer feedback, usage data, and industry trends to refine product positioning and messaging.
  • Define and track key metrics for product marketing success, adjusting strategies based on performance and market dynamics.
  • Mentor and guide a team of product marketers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Represent the voice of the customer in strategic discussions with senior leadership, ensuring that product decisions are aligned with market needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in product marketing, with a proven track record of successfully launching and scaling products in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong expertise in product positioning, go-to-market strategy, and sales enablement for both B2B and B2C products.
  • Experience leading and mentoring product marketing teams, with a focus on empowering and developing talent.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling product narratives and engage with both internal stakeholders and external audiences.
  • A deep understanding of customer personas, pain points, and the competitive landscape, with the ability to translate these insights into actionable marketing strategies.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Salesforce, HubSpot) and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Proven experience in collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Engineering teams to execute product initiatives.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
  • A passion for technology, innovation, and helping customers achieve success through products.
