Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain positive relationships in the communities served.
  • Educate referral sources and the public about the services Care Initiatives Hospice provides.
  • Generate referrals by developing and maintaining relationships with referral sources.
  • Travel throughout the territory making sales calls to accounts according to a strategic action plan and routing schedule.
  • Learn about customers’ needs and collaborate to discover the best way to meet them.
  • Keep the hospice care team involved and motivated to grow as a team through excellent patient-focused care and outstanding customer service.
  • Provide education to the general public by seeking out speaking opportunities and various events such as fairs and expos.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Sales & Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related/equivalent work experience, preferred.
  • Hospice or palliative care experience, preferred.
  • Experience initiating and developing professional business relationships, preferred.
  • Current driver's license and automobile liability insurance.
  • Ability to travel between multiple locations within the region.
