Enabling the movement towards advanced chip design, KLA's Global Products Group (GPG), which is responsible for creating all of KLA’s metrology and inspection products, is looking for the best and the brightest research scientist, software engineers, application development engineers, and senior product technology process engineers. The RAPID division is the world leading provider of reticle inspection solutions for the semiconductor industry. The company provides inspection solutions to both the mask shops and the semiconductor fabs to ensure that lithography yields are consistently high thus enabling cost-effective manufacturing.

Requirements

  • Ability to code in Shell, Python or C.
  • In-depth knowledge of one or more flavors of Linux: SUSE, Red hat, CentOS, Alma, Ubuntu.
  • Experience with customizing BIOS, Disk partitioning, RAID utilities, Net boot/PXE, System-D, and Linux HA.
  • Experience with few listed Configuration Mgmt utilities. (Ansible, Salt, Chef, Puppet etc.)
  • Experience with Server Hardware, GPUs, RAID/HBA Controllers, Storage Technologies (ZFS, Snapshots).
  • Interconnected Network configuration experience. Ex setup, customization, monitoring of InfiniBand, Ethernet, RDMA, ROCE.
  • Comprehensive and Detailed understanding of Cable Types, signal integrity specs, qualification and characterization experience.
  • Have superior understanding of x86 Hardware Platform stack, and proven track record for modelling workloads and benchmark performance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of PKI & SSL/TLS certificate management.
  • Knowledge of KLA processes & procedures added plus.
  • Knowledge of Apache/NGINX, Setting up proxy/reverse proxy, application server routing, load balancing (HA Proxy).
  • Proven track record in developing visualizations using Prometheus/Grafana stack.
  • Experience with NoSQL Databases.
  • Possess a strong DevOps focus: Knowledge of setting up a continuous development pipeline (Jenkins), Repository software (Git-based), Docker Containers.
