Intern - Software Engineer - Conway, AR

About the position

As an Intern Software Engineer, you will work alongside our experienced development team to design, develop, and maintain software solutions. You will gain exposure to cloud-based data platforms, modern software development workflows, and best practices while contributing to meaningful projects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the development team on software projects in Snowflake and Databricks environments.
• Write, test, and maintain code in Java and SQL.
• Participate in code reviews and team meetings, providing clear and concise updates on your work.
• Learn and apply software development best practices, including version control, testing, and documentation.
• Assist with troubleshooting and debugging issues across software systems.

Requirements

• Student pursuing a degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• Proficiency in Java and SQL.
• Familiarity with software development concepts, including object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or cloud data platforms is a plus but not required.
