We're looking for a creative, customer-focused, technical manager to drive the iOS Lock Screen experience. Our team (iOS System Spaces) is responsible for a significant portion of the iOS system experience including wallpapers, lock screen, home screen, and control center! Come work with a fantastic team of engineers, world class designers, and an incredibly strong set of peers to deliver the best mobile experience on the planet! We're looking for someone passionate about taking iOS to the next level. You will lead the team at the forefront of personal customization for the most popular software platform to ever exist. The SpringBoard Lock Screen team is responsible for the entry point to experiencing an iOS and iPadOS device. The lock screen in many ways is the face of iPhone and iPad. Make no mistake, this job has challenges. If you're not *exceedingly* passionate about building the best mobile experience, this role is not right for you. Our team is here to make a difference. To “put a ding in the universe,” and that's not easy. You'll be expected to push the envelope. To ship compelling designs at the very edge of what's technically possible. Responsibilities
- Lead the iOS Lock Screen team to enhance the user experience.
- Drive personal customization features for iOS and iPadOS.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and senior leaders.
- Push the boundaries of mobile experience design.
- Make critical decisions that impact user experience.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent preferred.
- Deep understanding of modern software development methodologies, architecture, and design.
- Experience developing with UIKIT, SWIFTUI, or other application frameworks.
- Strong collaboration skills and open-mindedness.
