Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, Red’s is seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Level 3 Helpdesk and Network Technician to join our IT team. This role will act as the site lead at our Sioux City location. The ideal candidate will be a critical thinker with strong problem-solving aptitude, capable of diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues across various systems and networks. This role requires a blend of advanced helpdesk support, network administration, infrastructure management, ensuring the smooth and secure operation of our IT environment. It is a great opportunity to build upon your strong Level 3 experience and take on a lead role.

Responsibilities

  • Provide varying levels of technical support for end-users, resolving complex hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Administer and maintain Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, and Azure AD.
  • Manage inventory and provision equipment to Red’s team members.
  • Manage user identities and access control using JumpCloud, including user provisioning, directory integration, and policy enforcement.
  • Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Barracuda security solutions, including firewalls, email security gateways, and backup appliances.
  • Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure using Ubiquiti Unifi products, including access points, switches, and security gateways.
  • Perform network troubleshooting, including VLAN configuration, routing, and VPN connectivity.
  • Monitor network performance and security, identifying and addressing potential vulnerabilities or bottlenecks.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for IT systems, processes, and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technology discipline is preferred, certifications and relevant experience will be considered in place of a degree.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar Level 3 role that includes experience in desktop support, end point management, system administration and light networking.
  • Relevant industry certifications (ITIL, Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, CompTIA Network+, CCNA, Ubiquiti certifications).
  • Agile and ITIL 4 Service Management Practices.
  • Experience with cloud platforms beyond Microsoft 365 (e.g., Oracle NetSuite, AWS, Azure IaaS).
