About the position

Global-e (Nasdaq: GLBE) is the world’s leading platform to enable and accelerate global, direct-to-consumer cross-border e-commerce growth. We make selling internationally as simple as selling domestically for hundreds of retailers and brands worldwide. We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our dynamic team!

Responsibilities

  • Resolve 3rd-level support tickets that involve research, debugging, monitoring, and resolution.
  • Investigate and diagnose complex issues in the web applications, identify root causes, and provide effective solutions.
  • Work closely with the support team and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient issue resolution.
  • Develop high-quality web applications using .NET Server side technologies or Java with the willingness to switch to .NET.
  • Design and implement microservices architecture for complex applications.
  • Work with both relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Write unit tests using major frameworks such as NUnit, Xunit, or equivalent.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to implement web designs and UI components.
  • Troubleshoot and debug application issues.
  • Work with Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, etc.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience developing end-to-end web applications with .NET Server side technologies or Java with the willingness to switch to .NET.
  • Experience working with microservices.
  • Experience working with both relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Knowledge of front-end development frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue is an advantage.
  • Experience integrating deployment tools such as Bitbucket, etc. is an advantage.
  • Experience working with Couchbase, RabbitMQ, Amazon cloud, or Azure is an advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is preferred.
