About the position

The position involves driving technology initiatives forward in collaboration with leadership, ensuring timely delivery of objectives, and participating in tech development sessions. The role also includes leading enterprise-wide projects and programs, providing in-depth analysis and executive summaries, and presenting findings to cross-functional departments and leadership. Additionally, the position requires creating and maintaining onboarding documents for new athletes, developing and leading onboarding programs, and training both new and existing athletes on job duties and responsibilities. The Allocations Specialist duties include determining the utilization of available inventory, assisting with production planning, managing capacity levels, and communicating with cross-functional partners regarding order allocations.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Leadership to drive tech initiatives forward
  • Meet delivery of objectives for both timeliness and content
  • Participate and lead in the tech development sessions
  • Make recommendations on technology enhancements and decisions
  • Elevate to Leadership for decisions outside of initial scope
  • Lead, Focus and Research Programs and Events determined priority from Retail Services, Sales, Sales Ops, or Order Fulfillment
  • Provide in-depth analysis and Executive Summaries on the content researched
  • Present to Cross Functional Departments and Leadership the summary output
  • Utilize and give direction to other Specialists within the department to accomplish objectives
  • Create, maintain and utilize On-Boarding Documents for new Athletes
  • Develop and Lead On-Boarding Program
  • Train new Athletes on Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide additional training for existing Athletes on new processes or Athletes that need refresher courses
  • Determine utilization of available inventory to cover open demand most effectively
  • Assist with planning production on all decoration techniques through the creation of Work Orders
  • Manage capacity levels and inventory availability to accurately meet the customers' ship windows
  • Monitor and understand open and future demand to ascertain the level of production needed
  • Understand high profile / priority orders and effectively allocate
  • Contribute to the department KPI for reducing lead times by allocating via automation and manual process
  • Communicate with appropriate cross-functional partners when order allocation has not occurred

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; at least 3 years of experience related to the duties and responsibilities specified
  • Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in related field of study, Business Management, Supply chain, or Marketing
  • Previous Leadership of a team of 5 or more
  • Experience in Production Planning or Manufacturing
  • Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Knowledge of retail services standards and procedures
  • Ability to process computer data and to format and generate reports
  • Knowledge of procedures and documentation for the processing and placement of customer orders
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems
  • Ability to foster a cooperative work environment
