About the position

This role provides an exceptional opportunity to lead product strategy and delivery for impactful digital services aimed at supporting underserved communities. As a Lead Product Manager, you will drive cross-functional teams to tackle complex challenges and create user-centered solutions that improve government services. Responsibilities

  • Define and own the product strategy and execution within your project or program area, partnering closely with program managers and cross-disciplinary teams.
  • Lead stakeholder alignment by clearly communicating product vision and strategy both internally and externally.
  • Drive product delivery by guiding multidisciplinary teams including design, research, and engineering to develop solutions that address complex social challenges.
  • Collaborate with other leaders to identify, escalate, and mitigate risks impacting product outcomes.
  • Work with engineering and design teams to develop prototypes, iterate rapidly, and ensure efficient execution.
  • Contribute to broader organizational goals by sharing insights and supporting continuous process improvement.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of product management experience with a proven track record of leading agile, user-centered product development.
  • Strong ability to interpret user research, usability testing, and data analytics to inform product decisions.
  • Demonstrated product judgment balancing experimentation with delivery and able to pivot effectively when necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills with experience managing diverse internal and external stakeholders.
  • Skilled at making trade-off decisions and fostering productive team discussions around priorities.
  • Ability to plan, forecast, and connect short-term progress with long-term vision.
  • Commitment to mission-driven work focused on improving government services for historically underserved populations.
